ARCHABBEY VOCATIONS

We are a community of Benedictine monks who share a Christ centered life of work and prayer according to the tradition of the Roman Catholic Church and the Monastic Rule of Saint Benedict.

To Follow Christ: Roman Pallone’s Vocation Story

Roman Pallone was inspired in his faith by his grandmother. But he had some uncertainties. He went on to earn a degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University. He had a career, a house, lots of possessions. At one point his life changed direction, and in that discernment process he found Saint Vincent Archabbey. On July 11, 2025 he’s scheduled to profess solemn vows, or vows for life. He’s certain it’s the life for him.
